Ingredients
Base
- 400g sushi rice
- 600ml water
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 5 x nori sheets
Filling
- Option
- Vegan Tuna
- Mayo
- Avocado
- Walnuts
- Sesame seeds
- Sriracha
- Option
- Tofu
- Mayo
- Cucumber
- Red Bell Pepper
- Sriracha
Instructions
- Rinse the rice until the water runs clear.
- Boil the rice in the water for 15 min.
- Remove from heat and let it sit for 15 min with lid on.
- Mix the vinegar, sugar and salt in a small bowl and microwave for 30 sec. Stir until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
- Add the vinegar mixture to rice. Mix well and let it cool down.
- Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat.
- Spread the rice on the nori sheet.
- Add the filling according to your desire.
- Roll the sushi.
- Cut the sushi roll into pieces.
- Serve with soy sauce and wasabi.
